Olympic Hall Concert
Again, Navy always honor and celebrate admiral lee sun shin's birth year, so we had a concert with US 7th Fleet Navy band. It was held at the Seoul Olympic Hall, and the scale of the concert was so tremendous and massive so that I've never been or even seen it on the TV. This concert had little bit of background story since during this time I was having some personal dilemmas but I was able to break through that difficult time through this concert.
We’ve prepared new drumline performance with some new concepts, fascinating stick tricks and powerful movement made the drumline great.
Looking at the audiences who enjoys our hard-working performances, I felt proud of what I did. It’s time to go to the practice room!

Gwanghwamoon Concert
I played at Gwanghwamoon, where the statue of Admiral Lee-Sun Shin is placed at the center of the Korean culture for remembering his achievement where he defended our country from Japan's invasion. We were honored to play with US 7th fleet Navy band. I had so much fun playing at the concert in front of the most number of people in my life.
The repertoire for this concert contained a lot of things; drumline performance, navy original musical and etc. my favorite was the drumline performance. About 30 drummers made wonderful ensemble. We put our 3 months to prepare for this, and I think that made this more meaningful and successful.

Celebration performance at Sejong city
We had a concert at Sejong city, the newborn city where they named after King Sejong, the greatest king of Korean history for the city’s everlasting prosperity.
This concert was held at the outside stage, allowing pedestrians to stop by and enjoy our concert. we received a good feedback from the audiences and had a rewarding day.

Jeju Concert
We had a concert on Patriotic month at the Jeju island, the largest island in Korea. This concert, which celebrates new start of Jeju new port and commemorates the victims of the Korean War 50 years ago, this concert had lots of downs because of the humid and hot weather but we overcame it and finished the concert very well.
While preparing this concert, we had an opportunity to travel several landmarks in Jeju island and like what i heard before it had such a beautiful landscape. It made me want to come back to Jeju as soon as I finish my Korean navy service.
Jeju Marching Parade
June is a meaningful month for Koreans because it is the very month Korean War broke out in 1950. So Republic of Korea's navy band, where I'm serving paraded for honoring Korean war veterans.
As a member of the navy band, I played a side-drum while marching 3km. When the march was over, I was proud of myself. This parade is one of the most meaningful events I've done.
Playing National Anthem at Baseball Stadium
What a wonderful event! I was very excited because I went to Baseball Stadium in Seoul to play national anthem. As a huge fan of baseball, I couldn’t believe I was playing my country’s national anthem at the baseball stadium. After the performance, I enjoyed the game with the audience. It was very happy day.
Honoring Korean War Veterans
I had an honor to play drums on the event for honoring Korean war veterans, It was very meaningful time for me as I am Korean, and breathing as of now is truly made because of their sacrifice towards my country. and being a soldier now makes me imagine how hard it was for them to have the courage to fight.
